Question about Tomba 2 (US)

I just found out that the Tomba 2 coming to the US PSN is apparently not a US version but instead the Japanese version :roll:

so before i start ripping the game from the PS1 CD i just wanna ask if the converted game is working fine?

Works fine on an eCFW vita if that helps, I hundred percented it with no real issue.
