Error 80010002 when starting PSX-PSP games *URGENT*

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to put this but here is my situation: I downloaded the latest POPSLOADER in order to play Xenogears on my PSP, so I check the POPSLOADER compatibility list and Xenogears apparently needed POPSLOADER 3.71, so I chose that. When I choose that it waits about 1 min then sends me back to the XMB saying "This game could not be started (80010002)". Help, my file path for popsloader is correct and I have the plugin enabled for that. Do I need to download something else? Do I need a new CFW/OFW? Help ASAP would be much appreciated!

EDIT: now I got error 80010016 "This game could not be started" please help!

Old thread, but I thought this guy needed some help...

Use Popsloader v3 rather than whatever you're using. When the game starts, hold down the R button and select 3.71 pops. Done.

I did exactly what you said installed that Popsloader v3 and selected 3.71 pops. Device is PSP 1000 and Pro-C2 installed but Im getting the same message.
