I am still on m33-2 4.01 - what's the advantage of upgrading

Hi there,

I have been out of the PSP community for a long time & wonder what the benefits of upgrading will be?

I mean, I would guess that newer games could be loaded onto the psp (not promoting this btw as I dig playing SNES/Sega emu's) if ''one'' wanted to play backed up psp games that have been released recently.. I have my psp slim for OFW anyways...

Any help would be appreciated as to what I am missing out on?

With 6.6, you have online gaming and full PSN access, all backuped games will run.. not sure if all of the new HBs would run on your old FW, but its clearly not a bad step updating to 6.6 ME or PRO

The newer CFWs feature all of the new OFWs features + some awesome CFW features.

There are the 6.60 ME and 6.60 PRO as most recent firmwares, but the ME CFW is more like the M33 CFW at which you are atm.
The ME CFW has all of the M33 features and even more awesome features.
The PRO CFW does not have all the M33 features, but has awesome features aswell.

I would recommend to update your PSP to 6.60 ME, you might want to follow this:
