ELF file is "exe"cutable file for all playstations (PSX, PS2, PS3 and also PSP)

Well I extracted EBOOT.BIN from the image into "fake_NPx" utilities.

When I run a command "seboot eboot.bin" I got that error.

...

What a minute? I need to decrypt the EBOOT.BIN 1s with psp decrypter?

...

Dam, there goes my hope to put my own UMD games on MC with OFW. :(

Can anyone need to tell me why we need to use seboot?
If i do use it and the only files there in my sysdir folder is a eboot.bin and boot.bin
Do i just use seboot on eboot.bin and replace it in my iso file and also another copy of new eboot.bin and rename it to boot..bin and replace that also?
Then save it uncompress iso?

I got that kind of error for a couple of times now saying both eboot.bin and boot.bin are not an elf file. When that happens, I just skip the seboot part and straight on fake np exe.

You have to add an exception in your AV to allow it. It's the program that's giving you the "Virus" alert.

So I understand from "regular" use that fake_np (both the v5 for 728MB and the touchier v9 for ~1.51GB) uses the header from donor games to trick the PSP into thinking the signed game IS the donor game, but I just decryp'd my last four PSN purchases to check for any differences from the AdvanSCENE, and I noticed that I'm getting "header.bin" out of each of them as a leftover file - is there any actual way to use header.bin in conjunction with fake_np?

And for the guys begging for help on how to use it, here's an easy tutorial:

get fake_np.exe (the v9 one if you want to do a game over 728MB and have LEGALLY PURCHASED a game from the PSN that's bigger than the ISO you want to sign)
COPY your PSN game somewhere
rename it from 'eboot.pbp' to 'np.pbp'
copy fake_np.exe (the v9 one) into the same folder
copy the ISO into the same folder
rename it np.iso
use UMDGen to extract the Pic0/Pic1/Icon0 images to that folder

run fake_np.exe (the v9 one)

if your computer flashes a black box you can't run it. Your computer is not powerful enough.

If it converts properly and you get eboot.pbp out of it, find the license file for the PSN game and make it READ ONLY
put that eboot.pbp into a folder (name it the game's name, it's just easier)
put it into ms0:\psp\game\ or ef0:\psp\game\ and try to run it from your XMB

if it doesn't run, one of several things happened:

1 - your firmware is not at least 6.31
2 - the PSN game you chose didn't have opnssmp.bin and the ISO did - pick a different PSN game that DOES have opnssmp.bin in it
unfortunately, point 2 is not a surefire method. I've been trying to use Little Big Planet as a donor game for a while and no game ISO I use with it works.
