(Well there is a 5.55 "beta firmware" for the go, but i dont think that someone can get it, or can dump stuff of it)

I know that. He asked will it support 5.50 and I simply answered. He never said what model he was using, so I answered him straight with "It does support GEN CFW so I assume it will work for 5.50" regardless of what PSP he's using.

The Patcher might be usable on 5.50 firmwares but like The Z said, you won't be able to use any of the PSP Go functions that 0.2 was designed for because they didn't exist back then. So it's kind of pointless to use it on anything older than 6.20.

Nah, it's not pointless to use it on anything below 6.20, it's still very much useful in my opinion. You don't have to use it just for the Go features on X000 PSP's.
