NPloader-0.9 - DLC loader | NPdecrypter-0.11 -DLC decrypter
Re: NPloader-0.9 - DLC loader | NPdecrypter-0.11 -DLC decry
So Im trying to use wipeout pulse and pure DLC with this plugin. As far as all this software business goes Im on the light side, I use a really simple lite cfw, 6.39 LME-9. Im trying to use nploader with Wipeout Pulse and Pure DLC. I learned how the path configurations work and everything, and I actually did get the game to run the DLC, but the game lagged HORRIBLY, even after I removed the DLC, up until I had format my memory card a few times and reset my system after backing up my saves etc. My question is simple and inclusive: I want this DLC, proper. Ive become a wipeout fan since I got this psp and found out how much I can really get out of it. What should I be considering was the problem with loading this DLC? I figured it might be because Im running Wipeout from an .iso, or that I might need the eu verison, or maybe even the folder configuration on my card, but I have no idea. I just want to know before loading it again if there's something I should change or look into to keep it from lagging. Also, Im worried about the lag not leaving, I had to reset quite a bunch of stuff to get it working again, and it's a huge releif that it isn't a problem with my save files.

have you tried overclocking PSP CPU?
Press SELECT while on XMB and change CPU CLOCK GAME to 333/166 or higher than 222/111 (Defualt) but it will use a lot of battery

Hopefully you're using a legal backup but that's not my concern. I guess the first thing I should address is the previous reply - changing your CPU to 333/166 or 333/222 MHz should help. I can't remember having any lag with either PSP WipEout game myself (I had a PSP 3000), NPLoader and the DLC.Seaberry wrote:So Im trying to use wipeout pulse and pure DLC with this plugin. I think CSOs take a hit in performance sometimes over ISOs, so I would make sure you have the right format - also perhaps use UMDGen and optimize your image.

I would also suggest updating that CFW to 6.60 LME since your PSP is really outdated

okay, overclocking the cpu, got it. As for 6.60, doesn't that require that pandora battery method ***? I don't want to do that.

You don't need *** to update, just the 6.60 updater.Seaberry wrote:As for 6.60, doesn't that require that pandora battery method ***? I don't want to do that.

What? since when do you need a Pandora Battery to do anything? just update either via the 6.60 OFW updater or the update option on the XMBSeaberry wrote:okay, overclocking the cpu, got it. As for 6.60, doesn't that require that pandora battery method ***? I don't want to do that.
then just download 6.60 LME 1.8 and run it from the XMB

Well the only reason I was running 6.39 is because it was the onl cfw I could find that supposedly didn't need the psp to first be sent into recovery with a pandora battery, but if I can just update it then I will.
Also. the Pure DLC works great now, but the wipeout pulse doesn't. What is the specific way to paste the .phps .edat and .nfos? Do they all have to go in one folder, what?

Isn't more easy to just install the latest 6.60 Pro and enable their DRM engine? The only reason to use nploader is because you cannot use Pro CFW (that or if you want to move the dlc out of the main game listing
)
