TempAR Just Will Not Work

I have the plugin 1.62-3 installed correctly. I get it to come up in games but there are no cheats listed. I downloaded the latest database from the TempAR website and installed them correctly, but nothing shows up. The plugin also crashes my PSP whenever I press X in the TempAR cheat menu.
