Type PSP: Fat and Slim
Tested on: 6.60 CFW
Playable formats: mp3, at3, aa3, oma, omg
BitHacker: ErikPshat ;)

This is new real port plugin music.prx for 6.60 CFW.

Does this work to play AAC files on eCFW? Or on phat psp? That would be a huge accomplishment! Otherwise what does this change from other/old music.prx?

SensMe can run AAC files (it shows them as m4a) prefectly fine at an eCFW (even at higher FWs). The XMB otherwise dies if you try to play an AAC via its native music player.


Minor other thing, I am sure that music.prx was working at 6.60 ME all along, so does this just fix the HUD glitches and other things?

Yes there are 6.60 versions of musicprx that work.
SennMe can run music in game? No.

I think should work and PSPgo. If you install a plug-in internal memory, it must be in files vsh.txt, game.txt and pops.txt change the path:

Code: Select all

ms0:/seplugins/music.prx 1
to

Code: Select all

ef0:/seplugins/music.prx 1
And so, in music_conf.txt change the path to the directory on the music to ef0:/

What all conflicting plug-ins are?

6.60 LME. PSP 3000, GTA VCS.
After some time ingame sounds became distorted. Plugin's music was OK.
