PspStatesMenu Pict Mod v0.6 (UPDATED 29-08-2014)
Re: PspStatesMenu Pict Mod v0.3 by LMAN (Updated)
What I want to figure out is, is how a game plug-in and a vsh plug-in conflict. It's very strange.

It seems that XMBCtrl cannot deal with long path ( at least in Steven's case ) like SystemMenu plugin which have an issue with long path\name of the plugins.
So that's maybe make XMBCtrl instable ( because XMBCtrl is reading VSH, GAME, POPS and Enable\Disable the plugins from it's control )

Re: PspStatesMenu Pict Mod v0.3 by LMAN (Updated)
I am running 6.60 PRO-C2 on a PSP Slim(2000). I have installed "PspStatesMenu Pict Mod v0.3 by LMAN". The plugin has been installed as described in the readme. I have appended my game.txt file correctly(ms0:/seplugins/pspstates_menu_pict_mod/states_menu_pict_mod.prx 1), and this is the only plugin that I am using. The plugin will save a game in either local or global mode. My problem comes when I try to load one of my states. The psp will go dark for a moment(just like when it is saving), and then it will reboot my psp. Can someone help.

Can you show your ini config file?ephzee wrote:I am running 6.60 PRO-C2 on a PSP Slim(2000). I have installed "PspStatesMenu Pict Mod v0.3 by LMAN". Edit: After saving the state there should be 2 files in your PSP ( In the same plugin path, or in PSP\SAVESTATE )
example: globalstate_d.bmp and globalstate_d.bin or NPJH50679_u.bmp and NPJH50679_u.bin
Re: PspStatesMenu Pict Mod v0.3 by LMAN (Updated)
I have both the "globalstate_d" .bin and .bmp files, but I don't know how to show you them or send them to you.

OK, did you used the menu to Save\Load the state, or did you used the short control (like L+X etc..) ?ephzee wrote:I have both the "globalstate_d" .bin and .bmp files, but I don't know how to show you them or send them to you.
Note: You can try another game, and see if it have the same issue or not, and make sure that you
pause the game before Saving the state, because sometime the saved state will not work.

I had used the menu to save, but I did not pause the game. I just tested savestate with the game paused and it worked. You are the man....... Thanks

Sorry for bumping an old thread,
I can't get this plugin to work on my PSP 2000 LCFW PRO 6.60 Cfix3
Game : Phantasy Star Portable 2,
I managed to open PSPStatesMenu & it can save on both Local & Global slots without crashing but then whenever I want to load the savestate, the savestate cant be found
In my directory ms0/seplugins/pspstates_menu_pict_mod/SAVESTATE/* , I can see .bmp file but there are no .bin =/
Thanks in advance

You can try this new one, But first you will need to completely remove the old one from game.txt and also from seplugins folder,
and make sure that there is no other pspstates in game.txt
After that install v0.4 using the provided EBOOT installer from XMB
Note:
make sure that the game is unmodified when you test it,
because the English patch version of Danganronpa shows empty gameid in all available pspstates plugins except v0.4.
also try the PSPStatesMenu on another game, and see if this issue is still exists or not.
Changelog v0.4:
Code: Select all
+Added a new plugin 'pspstates_kai_mod_umdid.prx' which fix the blank name of the saved state for some games.
+Added a new control keys "VOLUP+VOLDOWN" to shut-down the device by pressing these combination keys in the home screen or in the pspstate menu screen.
+Added a new EBOOT Installer to install the plugin directly to seplugins folder.
+Added a new option in the config file to enable\disable using the delay thread when starting PSPStates Menu ( default is enabled )
+Updated suspending\resuming thread when ( saving, loading, resetting, shutting down device ) using the short-cut controls.
+Updated displaying battery informations ( remaining, charging, none-battery )
+Updated menu interface.
