@ Augusta

No prob! As for the bluetooth...maybe the psp doesn't have enough power to run both at the same time. When you go to usb mode with bluetooth on, the psp tells you it needs to turn off the bluetooth first before you can do so.

Looks like it's 3 that don't mix too well.
You might want to try a different version of CWCheat. I'm running 0.2.3 for 6.xx HEN and using my dualshock over bluetooth no problem. If anything, I noticed the NP9660 driver, while great for compatibility, doesn't get along with plugins sometimes. Try the M33 driver if you're not using it already.

EDIT: Did some more testing with this. Using the RJL/CWC combo with NP9660 froze my PSP trying to run BbS. The RJL/CWC combo with M33 managed to get in-game, but has random issues with the save/load menu. Using just RLG with NP9660 gets me in-game, but it still glitches on the load menu. RLG with M33 loads, but it crashes upon attempting to save. The CWCheat menu seems to freeze a PSP running RLJ anyway, so I think you'll want to stick with one or the other, depending on your current needs. Bluetooth was off for all of this, by the by.

I don't think it's a power issue so much as the two devices might actually be sharing some code, possibly even a driver or prx file that's only meant to work with one device at a time.

JJS thinks the bluetooth module is actually connected physically to the USB "port"

Hi, I just made to succesfully pair my psp go with a ps3 controller (without PS3 SYSTEM of course). It took me about 2 hours, the process is simple but It took me several attempts (trial and error) to get it done. For anyone interested I got paired a PSP GO on 6.20FW TN-Hen C. ; used windows Xp 32bit version. One important thing to mention is that eventhough my pc has a built-in bluetooth, I didnt need it to get things done (my laptop built in bluetooth never recognized the psp go (nor the ps3 controller) and the psp go didnt found any bluetooth device either). BEFORE READING BELOW, GO TO THE MAIN TUTORIAL(not written by me) HERE http://www.motioninjoy.com/wiki/en/help/pspgo-ds3-pair TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.
after you install the driver on your pc, as an advise make sure your ps3 controller is turned on before plugin in to the usb port. you will know this if the controller is charging whiled plugged in . if you have all four lights blinking at the same time the controller is off. inside Motioninjoy on Profiles there must appear a dualshock ps3 controller, if you see "waiting for controller to be connected" your controller is not detected. next, on Driver Manager there shoud appear a ps3 controller and a "not loaded yet" or something, so, click on load driver, if you do it succesfully a "loaded already" shoud appear. next plug in the usb the psp and on the psp screen: turn on the psp bluetooth -register a ps3 controller-OK. after this, in "Driver manager" you must click on reload page, which should make appear something like "usb device" below the ps3 controller, you press "load the driver" and a "loaded ready" message shoud appear, next you click (or tick) both ps3 controller and usb device(the pspgo). if you do it succesfully you shoud get some green colored succes messages for both drivers (ps3 controller and usb device (psp)). if you get any red message (like I got 2 or 3 times) do things again and you might want to click on "install all" i think it helped me, not sure. next, go to "bluetooth pair" where it says bluetooth adapter:wait for..." that´s Ok. on the right corner click on "a Dualshock 3 psp go pairing " on the screen must appear both ps3 controller and psp go, both with MAC address. I happened to get detected the ps3 but not the psp go and no mac address on it. if that happens, go to profiles and re-check that there is "ps3 dualshock controller" connected and a yellow charging bar next to it. if it doesnt work disconnect both ps3 controller and psp go and do the whole process all over again. (IM GETTING TIRED OF WRIITING THIS!!) Ok, so after many tries I managed to get detected the ps3 controller and the psp controller with Mac adresses and clicked on "pair now" which should complete everything after discconecting the ps3 controller but instead I got a error on the psp screen. so I did all the process again but this time on "bluetooth pair" I typed my psp mac address on "custom MAC" and clicked on "Pair now" and Voila!
I,ve tested some psp games and a cps2 emulator with the ps3 controller. everything work perfect so far, I can use both the analog and the digital pads, even all the 4 L and R buttons on the top worked flawless on my fighting games. (vibration is the only thing that doesnt work, as expected). This is my first time I write this long.... , pardon my bad english, hope this semi-guide helps anyone,i might have omited some steps that i cant remember now, go to the main tutorial if you get lost, anyway I would appreciate any positive comments.

Appreciate this post. I have a PS3, but just incase it blows up or something I've been searching for an alternative way of pairing my PSP Go to a PS3 pad. Came across this thread, and this post, and both have been very handy indeed. Thanks.

Same issues as this guy always that same error.

it appears to find the controller after I press the ps button then hang until that message comes up.

I have a cheap 3rd party controller and this is frustrating me, I think it could be the fact its a 3rd party controller.

Anyone know know how to get it to pair and scifreak have you solved it for yourself?

I am having the same problem as you guys with the error code 802f0153 while trying to connect a controller to PSPGO .

I get all the way to please wait..., then disconnect USB from controller and PSPGO, after I press the ps button it just hangs until that error message comes up.

I have a Sony sixaxis dualshock 3 controller and I'm running 6.60 pro-c, The controller works perfect controlling the PS3, and all USB cables have been tested. I have tried resetting the controller and restoring the PSPGO to default settings as has been mentioned might work, with no luck. I have read that plugins may also interfere with the connecting process, so I have removed all, and still no luck. The WIFI works great on the GO so I am assuming the bluetooth should work as well.

Last thing I tried was to go back to OFW and deleted the CFW pro-c temporarily to see if it was the CFW at fault, and again no luck.
I hope someone has figured out what is wrong and can help us. The reason I purchased the PSPGO was for the ability to connect a controller via bluetooth.
Thanks! ken86turbo@usa.com

Hi i'm new to this forum.

I was wondering if anyone has a solution for the error code 802f0153 when pairing dualshock 3 controllers to PSP go. I've noticed some references to it and its annoying the heck out of me. I am currently on 6.39 PRO-b10. I have tried pairing with motioninjoy tens of times on my laptop (64 bit win 7 ultimate with motioninjoy version 6.003 to latest rev) and also on a second Win XP laptop (32 bit, similar revisions of motioninjoy). I have also tried this on a PS3 pairing the two units and still come up with the same error code and the PSP bluetooth light going solid blue.

One of the interesting things I have found is that motioninjoy sees a different MAC address for my PSP GO than the one shown in system settings on the unit itself. I dont understand why. I have tried various versions of OFW and CFW 6.20,6.39 and 6.60 and have reset factory defaults etc also. I have even tried macspoofing the mac address of the PSP GO so that the MAC address spoofed is the same as that shown in motioninjoy (I'm aware that its not a permanent change to MAC address, but thought it may fool motioninjoy/PSP into allowing the pair).

I bought the PSP go to use as a console hooked up to a tv with dualshock 3 controller (already have a PSP 3000 for handheld stuff). If anyone understands what the error code is or why this is happening, I'd be interested to know.

Cheers
