Anyone manage to get the controller running while in HEN? If so, can you provide how?

There are some drivers you can install to your PC that allows you to use your PS3 Controller for games while its connected via USB. just google PS3 Controller on a PC and you should find it.hacker alias wrote:but the download says "ps3 controller DRIVER for windows"
how do I use it if my computer doesn't HAVE bluetooth?

No prob! First off, make sure you have your controller up and running through Motioninjoy. To know you got it working...under the profile page you should see either dualshock 3 or sixaxis depending on what controller your using.Augusta wrote:Anyone manage to get the controller running while in HEN? Once you confirmed it's working go to the Bluetooth pairing tab and look up in the right corner and you should see two options. One for pairing a PS3 bluray remote to your PC and the one under it to sync a controller and psp go. On the next screen don't do nothing yet. Take your PSPGo and head to the bluetooth settings and select register a PS3 controller and plug in your USB cable for your PSPGo to your computer.
When you do, It should advance to step two on your Go and on your computer it should now should your PSPGo along with your MAC address...press pair now after that and follow the rest of the instrutions after.

This works but when you run HBL and run HEN, the controller doesn't work anymore. You can't even turn on Bluetooth in HEN mode.thebudds wrote:No prob! Whoops, I should have mentioned I'm on 6.20 TN. Guess this isn't supported for it if it's working for you on 6.35 PRO. My bad

Disable RemoteJoy Lite, it doesn't work well with BluetoothAugusta wrote:This works but when you run HBL and run HEN, the controller doesn't work anymore. You can't even turn on Bluetooth in HEN mode.

I'm curious if a sticky should be put up. Apparently the bluetooth module is attached to the USB port, and anything to do with USB will have issues with anything to do with bluetooth. Plenty of issues as of late from folks that don't realize that.ruyor wrote:Disable RemoteJoy Lite, it doesn't work well with Bluetooth

@ Augusta
That sucks...I set mine up while being in 6.35 PRO. Maybe you should do like ruyor said and check your plug-ins.

Thanks a lot guys for the help. RemoteJoyLite was indeed the culprit. Disabled it and running again.ruyor wrote:Disable RemoteJoy Lite, it doesn't work well with BluetoothAugusta wrote:This works but when you run HBL and run HEN, the controller doesn't work anymore. And yea im noob on the topic but is remotejoylite the only plugin that requires usb access? Just realised upon reading your post that you can't even access storage on the pc if bluetooth is on.
Thanks again for the help

I know Prometheus Loader has a USB host option for loading ISOs off of the computer hard drive, so I imagine using that option would mess up bluetooth. However, when reading from the PSP it should allow bluetooth headsets and controllers just fine. I've played a few games with a dualshock 3.Augusta wrote:And yea im noob on the topic but is remotejoylite the only plugin that requires usb access? I just tried loading homebrew and a few ISO's with bluetooth on. None of them worked. Turned off CWCheat and loaded fine.Kouri wrote:I know Prometheus Loader has a USB host option for loading ISOs off of the computer hard drive, so I imagine using that option would mess up bluetooth. Looks like it's 3 that don't mix too well.
