After the update several of the icons like the web browser and memory stick icons and save data icons don't show up anymore.

I can say that the 6.39 version is 100% working.

But, have you noticed where it says PlayStation®Network under Network it doesn't display the ® properly but instead displays it as _.

I think its the conversion problems
So 6.39 is working with all the icons but writing problemo
6.20 has icon problemo

Yeah 6.39 it's working perfect it's just this symbol ® just doesn't appear as that but instead as _. That's all really, but nonetheless it's 100% fine on 6.39.
