Is this the official thread to handle all requests or just conversions? I have a idea for a request, not a conversion. I'm a Batman fan & I was wanting to request one. I tried look for a sub forum or a sticky thread that handles request this is closest I can find. But, it just mentions conversions, so I didn't know if I made a request here or opened a new thread on the Theme forum. I visit here sometimes, but haven't really kept up. Thanks. -Epi

This forum doesn't really allow requests but with themes there's a gray area, since there are quite a few theme makers/converters/modders that are members here we pretty much allow valid (not near impossible) requests for themes to be created or heavily modded. (As long as threads don't start popping up every ten minutes about requests)

What I'm looking for is something to the effect if Bruce Wayne designed the PSP for use w/ Batman, almost if he a had mobile version of the Batcomputer. I'm assuming the gameboot is also the same boot video you see when the PSP starts, if not, I think this will work either way.

The video shows a bat logo spinning, spins about 2 times. and radiates a nice contrasting color, maybe white. red is a personal favorite. With the PSP logo overlayed. Then fades to black.

For the XMB, I was thinking a dynamic theme. Like maybe in the background, it populates data about criminals, various parts of Gotham, specs on various Batvehicles. I suppose for that to be practical to display the options in various options in the XMB, maybe the screen would dim to the point to clearly differentiate the background from the XMB text.

For the icons, I was thinking bat logos interweave with original icons, example, Video icon, where the icon is like a film strip, in the middle of the strip, like in the square of the strip is the bat logo. With Music icon, I was thinking, the bat logo with a music note with a transparent border around the note that cut through the logo to see the xmb underneath. That idea incorporated to all the icons of the xmb.

I was thinking for the bat logo, maybe the Batman Begins/Dark Knight logo. I think it'll look good as a icon.

Well, that about all the ideas I have on it. I know this probably seems real geeky\nerdy. But, I like I said I'm a fan of Batman. I think this theme would look awesome, I'd love to make it myself but, don't have the skills to do so.

If there is anyway I can help, please let me know. I'm alright w/ Photoshop, so, maybe I could help with making rough cuts of icons ideas and stuff like that to help. I really hope you can put something like this together. This probably seems very demanding. I want urge I'm not trying to be demanding. Please feel free to be free with it. At the end of the day, these themes that everyone create is art and I don't want to hinder any creativity.

Like I said, though I've signed up sometime ago, I never really kept track and it seems a lot of users here come up with great themes and I wanted to request one. I promise to keep all request to a minimum. I hope my theme is not near impossible, but I hope I it falls right into the realm of possibility. It seems the limits have been pushed from what I can see, like tilting the interface, shrinking down the icons, and making them to one side of the screen to allow for a cleaner & unobstructed view of the background.

I really hope my theme request falls into the realm of possibility, it may look that way with the size of the post I just made about it. If it is, I don't wanna pressure anyone in to doing anything. Like I said in my request post, I don't wanna seem demanding or impossible. With that said, I really hope I haven't.
