how to edit ctf themes?

ok so i was wanting to put my own images for a ctf theme and i can't figure it out after searching the internet iv tried editing it with ctf archiver but it wont show up on my themes and i tried converting it after editing it still wont show up and it wont let me convert it before i edit it. so anyone have any tips?

Hm..that's quite weird.
Mind giving me the name of the .ctf so I could check it out myself?
Anywho, for the record, it goes like this:
-Use CTF archiver to extract the files.
-Use RCO editor to edit the files.
-Use CTF archiver to make it a .ctf file once agian.

It could be that the ctf/archiver is just outdated.
