thanks
but how can you do it? i would like to learn
i found bsr 5.5 but is not working in win 8 -.-

edit:
mm
i replaced the bg waves from my 5.00 to the new 6.60 but it does not display them.. and the xmb icon disappears
i m exporting the icons as .gim from the 5.00 because the bmp is not working in these new rco
am i doing something wrong? i never had these problems with the fw 5
thanks!!but, I want to ask you 2 questions.
1. the wav file is 0byte, this mean you want to delete the boot sound? or you select wrong file?

2. How long is your gameboot.pmf?

OK, finally understand what do you want to do.

1st you open your sound file (that is you want to install) on the hex editor, and copy all the hex.

then, you open the prx on the hex eidtor and go to 0x000033A4 and paste them.

-finish-

Be careful, if the file size is bigger than 48 KB makes you difficult to replace the sound file.

the sound file is not mp3 its "at3"
you must convert it mp3 -> wav -> at3

tools link
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/son ... _codec.htm "(at3 codec) *you must install this first!"
http://www.goldwave.com/ (use wave to at3)

more detail please google! in youtube there is many Tutorial Videos. please watch them.

or

You delete the "profile.ini", re-install the newest CTF tools. I don't know the ctf tool supports the windows 8. I deleted the preview release few days ago (´;ω;`)

I extracted boot sound from the prx, using hex editor.
