AndrewYY wrote:thanks for the crash report. It doesn't seem like a very game-breaking error since you saw it on the menu screen, but I'll take a look at it.

The blue screen is actually something wololo recommended me to use some time ago. It's not my own code, so I can't take any credit for it. It's certainly useful though.

And oh my gosh, you noticed the silly little things I did like the fading and the fire. When I made those features, I was always thinking "nobody will ever notice this."

By the way, can you beat this game on hard mode? As a rule, when I was making the levels, I made sure that I could beat easy mode without deaths, and normal mode without continues, and hard mode.. I have beaten every pattern at some point (to make sure it's possible), but I've never actually completed it.
**** you're the same as me
i completed the easy mode without die
the normal one without continue
and oh well i avoided some patterns of the hardest mode but.... just like hikaru said.dang some of those attacks were totally unfair
by the way sooner or later after some training (and pattern learning) i will record my owv video ^^

i sent you a pm about the crash report
also the plane moves around a bit too fast when not holding square... probably -15% speed will be perfect for me

Very very cool!
Entry accepted, welcome to the competition

PS: your graphics are very fine, there's always people to complain, but seriously they're good :)

Edit: is it ok to host a copy of the game on my server? I usually do it without asking, but your readme suggests to ask before doing it :)

If you need US PSN Codes, this technique is what I recommend.

thanks for the positive feedback, and yeah its ok to mirror. People have done it without asking already, so I dont really care about that anymore.

Edit: but please, wait for a small update before you do, I've discovered a few bugs (the "causes a game-breaking error but can be fixed in one line" type), and along the way, signed the homebrew as well.

@Moz: Heh, I'm a Marisa player. I like it fast  Some feature like different characters with different traits could work in a future project.
@DaAnimeOtaku: There is no shame in playing on easy mode ;)

Edit: updated. see first post for details.

This is very nice and good-looking 2d-shooter! The story is nice addition and funny (the comment about the developer). Hopefully, eventually you're able to add more levels and story + even new weapons that can be bought. Thank you for the release!

FINALLY!
I managed to complete the hardest mode without continues! i died quite a lot of times. but no continues!
my final score is about 1.560.000
i died 2 times before the boss, and when i killed it i had just 1 life left...
oh right i forgot to tell, i never uses missiles it is too easy with them.
if you don't believe me i can post a screenshot of my high scores table, and even my scores.bin file if you want...
but i'm far away from a perfect play... some little enemies managed to escape. and when i died there was the cancel wave that killed enemies for me
i believe we can go past 1.600.000 i dunno if it possible to reach 1.700.000
i played this kind of games in years. and silveredge is really awesome portable fun

@DaAnimeOtaku: OTL can't help you then

@moz: Congratulations, you have surpassed me at my own game :P. Right now, it is possible to get infinite points by grazing boss bullets and not shooting (if you're good). I should probably make graze points falloff at a certain time limit, to prevent this. Competition's closed now though right? Maybe next time.

(Also, scores.bin isn't encrypted, since it wouldn't be hard for someone to just edit the psp memory while I'm saving to it anyways. For this reason, a playback mode would be nice to prevent cheating. Video evidence is the best evidence XD)

^_^ i see, score.bin isn't encrypted....
about video, nerur0n made an updated version of remotejoylite.
my issues is that i own a silly cheap netbook and when i record what's on screen the video will be laggy and about 12 fps -.- i hope that will fix it
or i need to play at a friend house, his laptop is better.

thanks for infinite score hint too ^_^
i love your game it is so awesome i hope that it will be on top 3 at least!
