a friend of mine says that he gets an error from downgrader, that psp 8g is not compatibile. is it that true? i didn't even know about a 8g module...

08g doesnt exists!

There are no 08g files in X000 Updater, and no 08g files in Go Updater...

08g was a "bug" in Davee's 6.35/6.31 downgrader when printing the model (which I "fixed"), it's actually an 09g, just test my newest version and make sure you have the 6.35 update in the UPDATE folder

Does PSP Module Checker v1.0 signed work for PSP Go in OFW?

yes, it does. Btw the recent version of downgrader can show this to you without need of module checker.

Added v3.5, adds support for 6.35 for non 07g/09g (more detail in main post), added source, and removed some debug printf's I forgot to take out

I like the name, cause the 0xFFFFFFFF error is usually the update failed error ^^
