Just FYI :)
Hehe, so most likely an update (and maybe finding new nids? Psardumper upgrade required?) will be enough...

If you need US PSN Codes, this technique is what I recommend.

Anyone been able to figure out if I'm completely scr..ed or not? Like I said earlier, I'm not quite sure what to do; I upgraded ofw to 6.38, was this nessacary to make the downgrader work? I hope that part was at least correct. Because I keep getting a "Checksum MD5 Mismatch" Message or something to that effect. Also I should mention I was using 6.35 pro b5, but wanted to use 6.20 pro b perm patch. Does having already flashed my psp for 6.35 pro effect this process at all?

yes

most likely you
- downloaded the wrong firmware file
or
- named the firmware file incorrectly
or
- put the firmware eboot in the wrong folder

Now the part about naming the firmware file incorrectly intrigues me, I left it labeled EBOOT.pbp, and I placed it in a folder labeled UPDATE. As well as placing it in my games folder, I may be a complete idiot when it comes to these things, could someone walk me through this thoroughly. PLZ, THX.

Thats is because you have a 7g or 9g psp 3000 model so you can only downgrade to 6.35 that you had one time. Thats because that type of psp comes with 6.30 fw and cannot install and older one never. you will have to stuck with 6.35 PRO B5 and thats enough i think. i hope it works now for you.(sorry for the bad english xD)

Right, how could I miss that. gabriel769, if you have a 7g or 9g, you cannot go down to 6.20
