Hey ABCanG, I managed to test your simplebatteryviewer... It working fine! But I have a question: the folder "src" that is along with the .prx is necessary for the plugin to work? I put both of them...
The newest release (1.1.0) causes my PSP to freeze a few seconds after the home menu is displayed. Also, I can no longer bring up the settings menu when pressing select. Prior to 1.1.0 I was using 0.9.1 without any problems. My PSP was running Pro B9 so I updated it to Pro B10 and am still experiencing these crashes. I really want to use this as a replacement for the Home Menu so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd welcome them.
EDIT: Been playing around with it for a few hours, and here's a few things I've noticed. If StopGame is set to OFF the menu flickers/flashes and the audio is distorted while the home menu is being displayed. Setting StopGame to ON seems to fix the flicker/flashing problem. The 2 games I've tested this with are Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. In Final Fantasy Tactics, if the the Home button is pressed during the opening video sequence, the menu won't display for up to 10 seconds+ if it doesn't outright crash. Sometimes (regardless of what game i've selected) the PSP will just freeze when the game is launched and begins to play. It seems all sorts of nasty bugs have made this plugin extremely unstable since the ability to move the different UI elements was added. Shame really, as I think this plugin has a lot of potential. In the several hours I've spent using it, it must have crashed on me over 15-20 times and most of these were from simply hitting the home button, resetting game or simply launching a game.
