Name:
PSPInstaller 6
Description: An all in one downloader and installer for PSP Homebrew, Themes, Pictures and Utilities
Author: Spike_132000

Well, it's finally here and up for download! If your not quite sure about what PSPInstaller actually is, it is an application that helps the end-user easily download and install homebrew, much like the Cydia store on the iPhone or similar stores for the Wii. The application was made with you in mind so steps have been taken to ensure that you can install files and play them as quickly and easily as possible.

Latest version is 6.05
- Use in app update for latest version if you use 6.00-6.04.
- Download 6.05 as a full package with NEW EBOOT

6.05 Full Package (with new eboot)- http://www.mediafire.com/?m9vymcw69by2oci
6.00 Without updates (use in-app update)- http://www.mediafire.com/?p6pjlygu4zlgnzc
Install this application by putting it into your GAME or GAME5XX folder! Make sure you run the in-app update in the About section to ensure you have the latest features!

Code: Select all

- Progress Bars for Download
- New Interface
- New Sounds
- Cleaner Code (More code recycling!)
- Working Update System
Bugfixes and additions since Initial Release

Code: Select all

- Minor UI fixes for text positions
- New PSPInstaller 6 Logo
- Search implementation
- Fatal bug fix (Thanks bsanehi)

Help PSPInstaller grow by submitting homebrew to our repo's.
Please Note When Uploading: Ensure that your package is in ZIP format and mimics the root of the memory stick. This will ensure that your upload gets approved more quickly instead of us having to fix the file for you.

Upload your homebrew to:
Signed Eboots, PTF Files and Wallpapers - http://ofw.pspinstaller.com/
Unsigned Eboots, CXMB Files and Anything Else - http://cfw.pspinstaller.com/

I would appreciate your comments in this and would love feedback on how pspinstaller works.

There are a few things that you should note before using PSPInstaller:

- PSPInstaller is not and unfortunately may never be compatible with any games catagories plugin. I advise you disable this plugin while using pspinstaller.
- There may be bugs in here somewhere, I have tried my hardest to get them but if they are there, report them to me and I will work on them ASAP!

Thanks

P.S-Wololo/NPT, could you remove the PSPInstaller 5 thread and redirect your link in the entries thread to this one. Thank you muchly :)

So it's kind of like the PS Store but for plugins, homebrews,...?

This is a new major version of PSPInstaller (Hence the new thread). Version 5 went from 5.18 to 5.30. Plus because this one is significally diffrent, I thought it could do with it's own thread.

I think it's a really cool homebrew, it will save many users(including me :) ) from checking for homebrews from several sites... It is also great that how it's easy to upload the homebrews. Great Job! :D

I thought the update was major enough that it warranted a new thread. I hope it's bug free too ;)
