It doesn't fully work on PSP Go. Tried running ISOs thru game but I get an error (I'll put the error code later, too lazy :P) or sometimes it doesn't run and just goes black. and one more thing. The Autostart plugin doesn't work for psp gos too.

The blue screen is the built in exception handler. It doesn't seem to be very stable though so it is still under experiment.

When you quit games and applications, the PSP is supposed to return SHELL. That's what SHELL is for, to replace the XMB.

If you have a memory stick in your PSP GO, please install it on the memory stick. This is stated in the read me. :)

Autostart.prx for the PSP GO should also be installed on the memory stick and not in the internal storage if you have an m2 memory stick.

If you don't have an m2 memory stick, install SHELL in your system storage.

@Arnold ^^;

How do I make it work on my PSP Go's internal ef0 storage? Like Blue.Gazer said, autostart doesn't work and keeps trying to exit to the XMB, but it doesn't and restarts the process. If I didn't have the recovery menu I think I could've came close to semi-bricking my PSP (A bunch of other features don't really work either, like browsing and starting games from SHELL). I don't have an m2 memory stick and I won't be getting one because I don't really need one, help?

Install SHELL in m2 memory stick only if you have an m2 memory stick.

Install in the built in storage otherwise.

Auto start should work on the GO, I haven't tested it though. I will look into it as soon a possible.
If it ends up in an endless loop, hold L trigger until it reaches the XMB, then disable autostart in plugins.

Instructions for GO users:

1. Memory stick + System storage.
Install to memory stick. Install autostart to memory stick.

2. System storage only.
Install to system storage. Install autostart to system storage. Use ef0:/seplugins/autostart.prx in vsh.txt

If autostart fails to boot and you get stuck in an endless loop, hold L trigger and it will stop SHELL autostart.

Starting games and stuff should work for GO.

@KAGE033, reinstall SHELL.

I plan to allow customisation of that menu. :)

You are using the old version of SHELL by the way. Upgrade to get access to more folders. :D

You could also add SHELL LINKS to ms0:/SHELL/favourites/User Favourites/ that point to your favourite PSX games and launch them from there.

Hey arnold.

I just got your shell working on my PSP. Overall it's looking pretty FINE.

Although, to be honest with you, I'm a geek. Everything does look better gui wise but until this baby can multitask...

And if my decent grasp of programming is still to-date, I know that won't be done with plugins. The core has to be struck.

I tried running your shell from irshell and it works fine. I can even multitask from your shell to irshell. That gotta mean something.

Anyway, I just finished downloading some reading material to my PSP. Will be reading and studying on the go. Pity I won't have a laptop till prolly next month. But I'm on my way.
