That shouldn't happen. Are you sure you are installing the NEWSHELLLOADER folder into PSP/GAME?

Yes. And the weird part is when i press x the mem stick indicator blinks for a long while...

I had the same problem, you are probably using Game Categories Light. You just need to take it out of your CAT_*** directory and put it directly into PSP/GAME.

No, the problem was with the data transfer. It got corrupted while transferring.
