P.S.: Please don't post everything in orange. It's bad to read.

1. They said there is a PERM CFW for 6.20, is that true?
2. What's with the version.txt thingy?
3. I can't use any for now lol.

Incorrect it does touch the flash on both versions. It's called LCFW because it isn't fully installed to the flash0 to cause a brick. On 6.20 it IS true it can be permanant. It's still a LCFW though because it only adds things to the flash.

The version.txt works just fine. Enable it in the recovery menu

Ok ok ok ok i got it :) i found what was wrong with my version.txt, On pro B3 it read this version.txt which could be copy + pasted like this
Code: Select all
release:6.37:
build:4884,0,3,1,0:builder@vsh-build6
system:57081@release_637,0x06030710:
vsh:p6598@release_637,v58248@release_637,20110118:
target:1:WorldWide

On B4 it reads version.txt written as official version.txt would be. When you try to copy and past that it shows up as above on here which doesn't work on B4 but the files can be downloaded and placed in seplugins then it's corrected and works on B4

here are version.txt i made (tested on B4) and uploaded myself :) all 3 work just pick which version you want to fake  and set in seplugins

You set the version.txt in your seplugins folder to fake the firmware version on your system. Say your on 6.35 and you want to play a 6.37 game like dissidia 012 or 3rd birthday you want to put the 6.37 version.txt to play it it or higher

It fakes your version. :)

If you look at the first page on this post coldbird screenshot shows it under the Mac address Fake:6.39

I decided to check it out and I noticed a few things:

*When using Game Categories Light on PRO-B4 and having the same category in both ISO and GAME, everything in that category shows up twice.
*I've also noticed a lag in the gameboot that wasn't there when I was on TN-D, it's like the video starts a split second after the audio.
*It also seems memory stick reading is slower than TN-D (that might be causing the gameboot problem, mine's on my memstick).
My PSP Specs
01g:TA-079v1 1.00 Bogus, 6.00 TT, or 6.60 ME-1.8/PRO-B10
01g:TA-086 6.60 ME-1.8/PRO-B10
02g:TA-085v1 6.60 LME-1.8
02g:TA-085v2 6.60 ME-1.8/PRO-B10

I'm a long time TN Hen user, and I must say this made me switch over to PRO. I never want to upgrade my 6.20 which is what kept me from trying it in the first place, but now that it works on 6.20 I'm very impressed. As far as I can tell it offers the exact same things TN-Hen does, only it has the option to be permanent. So now my 6.20 3g PSP is sitting with PRO-B4 Perm installed and it's lovely. Everything appears to be in working order and I love that I can shut my PSP down without having to run the CFW when I turn it back on.

Excellent release team.
