Hello, i am a noob at this, i ve been reading a bunch of topics on google but i need confirmation, can someone please answer my questions?

1. Is it ok if i turn off my psp each time i use this cfw and then when i turn it back on use the "PRO UPDATE" icon and then X to launch? or should i use fast recovery? so far i am launching it every time using "PRO UPDATE" and then X to launch, am i doing something wrong or i am good?

2.I am playing a japanese game right now,so far its good, do i really need the region fake thing?I am pretty sure this game doesnt need it, just asking.

3.For what game do i need to use Region fake? or the option its just in case and no one really need it?

4.Since its easier to use the sleep mode now...than turn it off and on. Is it ok to charge your PSP in sleep mode? How much charge the sleep mode consumes?

5.How do i use a homebrew app? I downloaded one and its on a GAME folder, i guess i should just throw the folder of the app in the GAME folder of the psp, but then? do i look for a new icon of the app in the game/system storage folder of the XMB? Just click it and then the homebrew will open? or what?

I really dont need homebrews just wanted to try the battINF 1.4 because the psp go doesnt have a battery % information and its kinda stupid...

pd: I was legal until now, since the psp go doesnt have all games on the PStore,fk it, *puts on an eye patch* The pirates treasures are too tempting.
pd2:The one piece will be mine...?
Hi,
on 1.fast recovery is what you should use,its just a launcher,so you launch, and it goes back to XMB,your in Pro.
2.if it doesnt seem to be stopping you play, then you dont need to change.
3.It is an option to remove certain things of your XMB..im not sure what else it does!Sorry.
4.This is my personal opinion, dont use sleep on a Go,It Freezes my pspGo sometime's.just use savestates, and continue after a full shut down charge.
5.Your internal memory start at ef0,so after ef0(Root) you should have a folder called PSP,Then a folder called game,Open that game folder.
now go to the folder with your homebrew, look for something called an EBOOT.pbp,go back a folder And copy that whole folder that the EBOOT is in.
then it will come up in your XMB,under Internal Memory.

And now last but not least,PSPGo does not have an internal Battery Sensor,So get a plugin called HUD2.02 for what firmware your using.
You will notice you only get readings of 100,90,60,30,12,4!That as accurate as psp Go will get.

*this forum does not take kindly to piracy,Please dont talk about it here*
Other then that, hope you found out what you needed,

It allows some isos without latin characters.
For example:
パイレトゲイム.iso didn't display before. Now it does with this new feature.

Eh...i was planning on getting a M2 card(16GB) for my GO, but i am not sure what to do, i mean...how can i open an iso from the m2 card? i currently have the ISO folder in the psp go internal memory, should i just add an ISO folder too on the root of the m2 card? just asking.

I am not sure if this is possible in PSP GO, ...i am posting here because i am using PRO-B6 cfw, so, and well, in the features it doesnt say anything about memory cards....so...help?

sorry for being a noob, but this is my only psp and my first custom firmware , as you know, the psp go is different and some stuff doesnt work the same way, so, i think i have a good excuse for asking these noob questions( and to bother you guys )

  Hi,
I recently upgraded to a pspGo,And got a Memory Stick...And i was confused for 2 days..
I asked around this forum to find out anything, but they where all wrong,As recently in a update they changed how it works
So in the wise words of im sorry but i forget who said it,Having a memory card in your psp go is like a psp 3000 built in to your psp go.
so Yes you do need a ISO folder on your memory card(You will format your memory card,And all the folder's on your internal will appear on your M2)And copy the games you want in there.
,and a option comes up,just above your internal storage and your games come up in that..
But with all that been said,You will also need a seplugins folder on your M2 aswell(I just copied my whole folder over,Deleted all the plugins from VSH.txt)
As i said it is like having a psp 3000 in your Go. :D If you understand what i mean.It only loads plugins for games of the same place,Game from memory stick, plug in needs to be on memory stick.
Also,if you use a Autostart.prx it needs to go on M2 seplugins folder on the VSH.txt(They will not work of internal)..
Sorry if i confused you,It still gets me a bit confused. :D hope i helped.

And its ok to ask these type of question's,We rather you ask!then do something that might brick your pspGo.
