Best dream ever, the scene needed this approach a long time ago, a single place where one can report bugs, submit patches and get an unified CFW without stupid flamewars and fragmentation of the user base (its a pain to maintain homebrew for multiple cfw).Coldbird wrote:My dream would be to unite all the great CFW coders out there, neuron, TN, etc. under this single project.
I know, its a dream but hey. It would be a good one.
P.D.: thx for finally making my nploader plugin useless on Pro (bugfix ftw
addendum: any reason to still maintain 6.35?

Nope, no specific reason.
But why "delete" something working from source?
Besides there are people out there who - for nostalgic reasons (I dont understand why) - prefer sticking to "older" fws... and yeah... 7g and 9g... the oldest people can go with a proper featureset is 6.35 PRO.
And hey Codestation. You are one of those coders I ment.

Thanks for all your hard work! I'm sure I've read it somewhere before, but I can't seem to find it any more: how safe would it be to install the permanent patch to a non-pandorable model?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: PRO-B6 Custom Firmware [UPDATED 29th May 2011]
Hey there,
I'm currently on 6.20 TN-E and I have a PSP Go. I like being as far up to date as possible so being on 6.39 is a must for me.
I just have a few questions:
1. Can this be installed on a PSP Go?
2. What happens when I just flick the power button on my PSP (not hold it, just flick it up)?
3. What happens when I coldboot my psp and how do I get back to Pro-B6? Is it as easy as TN-E is to get back on?
4. Is it easy to install and whats all this about a recovery menu?
Danke,
Kaz!

Re: PRO-B6 Custom Firmware [UPDATED 29th May 2011]
You have more plugin and CTF options on 6.20 so I wouldn't update the FW version, you can use the good ol' version.txt trick to log on PSN. But answering your questions, meatsucks wrote:Hey there,

1. Yes, just be sure you get the Go! updater.
2. The PSP will go into sleep mode and the LCFW still will be there.
3. After installing it the first time you only have to use the Fast Recovery.
4. Just run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions, it's easy. The recovery menu is a menu that allows you to use some very useful functions that aren't present on the OFW.

Re: PRO-B6 Custom Firmware [UPDATED 29th May 2011]
Can I be cheeky enough to ask for a link to the Go! Pro-B6 and Fast Recovery install thing...? Also, do I just update to 6.39 through my PSP's Network Update?
The fact that 6.20 has better compatibility means nothing to me as I only use my PSP to run ISO's and I don't use any plugins whatsoever (apart from aLoader, but I shan't need that on Pro-B6)

Re: PRO-B6 Custom Firmware [UPDATED 29th May 2011]
is it possible to play games that need less than 1gb of space with PSP Go with Free 1gb up System Storage? Is it possible to add this feature on 6.XX PRO CFW?
The games are like Street Fighter Max, or Killzone Liberation?
