[Entry] PSPInstaller 5

Pspinstaller has actually been going way longer then homebrew store. Hence this being version 5. Google for ver 1 2 3 and 4. And I'm not specifically competing with the homebrew store, I'm just bug fixing and improving an app I started making quite a while back, I feel the improvements in this version are extreme enough to be allow into this compo whatever keeps the scene strong!

So your the creator of PSPInstaller? Hiya! I used to use it but it gave me troubles. For some reason while using it, sometimes my memstick would screw up. I didn't lose anything very important such as save files but I did lose a custom eboot for ff7, but that doesn't matter : P For some reason even though I had sufficient ms space it would sometimes screw up for no apparent reason. What happened was occasionally after installing something my memory stick would show as 0Kb free. Even though I did have a few hundred mb's unused. What I had to do was, backup the memory stick, run a few chkdsk's on it and then force delete any rogue files (weird files that were locked and hard to delete). I'm really not sure why it did this but after awhile it was too much of an inconvenience. I think it's a great program, very very awesome interface and repository system. I think it was an older version I used a couple years back (maybe that was the cause). Any idea's as to why this happened? I don't think anyone else has experienced this though, it's probably just my bad luck

But my guess is my psp was just a piece of ***. Sound would pop, had to hit the left side of psp to load games (lol I know), umd drive was broken, it crashed and also the av-out was absolutely ******.

Then again a similar thing happened to my new psp 3000, 6.20TN with afro thunders homebrewstore (ms showed as 0kb after an install, had to run chkdsk) so maybe it's a problem psp's in general (just not well known?).

Ok, so, you obviously didn't read the rules. PLEASE READ THE RULES. This is for submissions, ie something that has a download link. This is for things have reached a point that they are ready to be either entered as they are done, OR, more likely atm, entries that are constantly being updated. Either way, we require a download link for an active topic in the SUBMISSIONS SUB-FORUM, which you are posting in. If you want to talk about an upcoming entry, make a post in the regular PSP Genesis Compo forum, that is what it's for! Also, I watched the youtube video just to see if there was a splash screen, which I did not see. When you have something ready for download, PM me (npt) or Wololo and we will unlock this topic and expect you to immediately update / edit the 1st post with the download link. If you are not ready that is OK, but, it's not OK to post in here yet if you don't have a download for people to check out. No offense intended, it's just this is really starting to get out of hand... people NEED to read the rules.

Now, on another note - your app looks really cool and I DO HOPE that you finish to the point of it being a major update so you have something for download, and that it has our compo splash screen at the beginning, or it won't get unlocked, as of course we'll check the download link first before unlocking this. Anyway, again, hope you do update and enter, as you app looks cool. Please update and PM.
