This may just be a root cause for the problems people are having. I'll release an update with a fix for that.

It's not a bug, the PSP is just really slow at starting EBOOTs(and the browser is slow at starting....)

You can't access those from user mode Thats why the default eboot needs NewSlideBridge.prx with it to know when the screen slides open.

Awesome! I'll see what I can do about the timing but I doubt that it can be shortened much more from what it is now

EDIT:

To people with modifications to try to make this run without a Go, try removing any UMDs from your unit. This plugin checks the conditions of system properties directly and it is not made with non Go functions in mind. Note that this plugin will intentionally not do anything if your PSP is on HOLD as well.

Version 2 should fix a bug where the plugin would not activate if a Memory Stick(M2 Micro) was inserted.

Guys i found a way to load it on PSP 1000/2000/3000.
I combined it with Art's XMB screensaver plugin so after 1-2 mins it appears on the screen.

Note this plugin is old and it works on 5.00 m33-6 so i don't know if it works on newer CFWs.

Nice Find... And a PSP 3000 can have a screen saver?? Never heard of that Plugin... Interesting. Afro, Can i make a Topic about using your "NewSlide" Plugin on PSP 3000?

I guess so, since the XMB screensaver works on 5.00 it supposed that it will work on 5.03 too.Test it and tell me
