I tested your homebrew and is very nice. In fact, is the only homebrew I use to manage my plugins, as you added multilingual compatility, and would like to contribute with the spanish part.
Another suggestion I could tell is adding two features that can make a better experience: Wireless transfer of plugins and scanning of the SEPLUGINS (or PLUGINS) folder. That would make use of a PC almost innecesary, as any people could share his plugins with someone else wirelessly, and then, scan his plugins folder using your homebrew and editing it.
Well, maybe its difficult, but its only a suggestion you can forget and continue your work ;)
Thanks for your work.

@darkassain: that's true. but the config lib i'm using now adds bloat to the code, so i'm a little reluctant to add a ton of configurable parameters (like all the colors and buttons). eventually i'll probably put less used functions on a menu, and there wouldn't be as much need to configure buttons.

You have my gratitude. I'll PM you the english text.

I've thought about adding some network support. It's a good suggestion, but I guess it would be tricky to add ad-hoc functionality since I don't have two PSPs to test with. But perhaps I could set up some form of loopback interface somehow, if not in the PSP then perhaps using an AP. I can try, but I can't promise anything.

Another idea I had was automatic updates, that's easier but I'll have to look into setting up some form of site I guess.

Right now I'm working on improving the audio-visuals with more bling-bling. ;) There's a few more thing I want to do before releasing a new version, but network stuff (if added) will likely be in the version after that.

I've been quite busy coding this new release, and I'm pretty excited about it. Adding a boatload of bling-bling, some new features and this time we have proper Spanish translation thanks to Equis.

I'm not kidding about the bling-bling. There's two files to this release pspyapm-0.40.zip and pspyapm-partypak-0.40.zip. The former is a complete application, and the official compo version. The partypak however is NOT part of the competition and it's sole purpose is to sex up the plugin manager to please you users. :D The partypak is installed by overwriting files from the official package. So try it out and when you tire of it install it without the partypak for a normal neat experience. Or you could make your own customizations.

The full changelog is posted in the opening post. As well as the download link.

On a more person note I could still use French and Japanese translations, so if you can contribute I keep my latest english text on pastebin.

Edit: Uploaded new screenshots. Screenshots for the partypak and the compo edition is attached to the first post.
Attaching a screenshot to this post showing japanese characters in the menu.

Seems as a non-proper-for-children pak :D Or not proper for my kids' PSPs...

Anyway, a great work Strangelove, thanks for your HB.

Hi Strangelove

Its a realy nice and usefully tool.good work!
I have a question.
I used a Homebrew on my Slim with 5.00 M33-6 called "Flash0 Plug-in Loader v2" and have Plugins in my flash0.
Can you can add support for VSH-,GAME-,and POPS.TXT in "flash0:/seplugins/... .TXT" ?

So Strangelove, I just thought up a question.

I noticed there are three pictures in the party pack, so how do I switch between them?

There already is, sort of...
If you open the file "yapm.cfg" in a text-editor, you can change the entry "seplugins_path" and change ms0 to flash0, and the plugin manager will use this directory.

As far as I know you will always have read access to flash0, but my homebrew doesn't mess with any permissions, it just uses the current one. So if you're running a HEN or some plugin that enables write access to flash0, it should work. If you run into any problems I don't mind fixing my homebrew.

Same method. Open "yapm.cfg" in a text editor and change the "image_background" setting. "source_images" needs to be "filesystem", but it's already set to that in the partypak.

---
I'm open to suggestions btw. Small tasks are more likely to be done.

didn't work on my Slim 5.00M33-6.
i add seplugins_path = "flash0:/seplugins/" to my config and your homebrew go back to XMB after splash screen. :?:
what kind of plugin can i take to enables write access to flash0
