Anyone who wants to can try out the next version: http://www.sendspace.com/file/1mwgxs

Just press square to show the description. Pressing anything else will close the box.
There aren't many plugins in the database yet, so if you get "No Description Found..." please tell me which plugin you were trying to view the description of.

Awesome !! :D

Could you please allow a way for end users to add there own descriptions?
I noticed your db file is encrypted ? I can understand that you want to keep your app closed src for now, but I really don't see the point of encrypting the db :P

Thanks again for all your hard work 5h4d0w! :)
This is by far the best plugin manager eva :D

Nah, that was by mistake. I clicked "do a directory" instead of a file :P

The database format isn't really finished yet. I haven't built in a function to separate a description into 58 char lines yet (dang wordwrapping) so each line is a separate string

That, and I have to get around the the 50 character limit in the OSK...

Long story short, I'm not finished yet ;)

EDIT: Ok, so, I have it working (line-by-line writing). That was easier than I thought... I still might change the format, though. I don't really like having all those strings floating around.

EDIT 2: http://www.sendspace.com/file/vny8qc <-- try it

While adding a description, leaving a line blank will end the description. Example: you write things in lines 1-4, and then leave 5 blank, the function won't ask for a 6th and will write the finished description.

Awesome !! And you even built in an editor for the new descriptions feature! :D

Any plans to allow users to edit the descriptions?

In my humble opinion, this project is one of the best in the competition!
Great work. Keep it up! 8-)

Thank you, It's great to hear things like that.

EDIT: I've also just added the ability to chainload the recovery menu. There is a button in the config screen that loads it. Quitting the recovery menu exits to the xmb, though.

Uploaded finished v1.5_1

This might be the last update before the competition is over, unless more bugs are found.

Really nice updates!!!
I have only one thing to say: there is again the issue about the crash of psp (now remain with black screen while opening the program) if you don't deactivate the function protect flash0 with tn-e user....
Not that I care really much about it but I thought it was better to let you know 5h4d0w
By the way I noticed that in the readme you didn't change the fact that now you put the config back into the app directory, it still says that it saves in flash3

I think the problem with it freezing with flash protection happening again is because I had to change some things around to stop it from crashing when saving to flash0.

After I "fixed" the problem with TN, the flash was never actually mounted. I fixed that (and consequently the saving bug), and it broke TN again. There's nothing I can do to fix both problems :?:

I'll fix the readme...

Also, I just noticed that you can't load the recovery menu on 5.50 GEN (and possibly other GEN firmwares)... It works on my 3000 with 6.20PRO-B5 and my 1000 with 5.00M33-6 but not my 2000 with 5.50GEN-D3. I think the GEN Recovery.prx is different/broken somehow, I copied over the recovery.prx from 5.00 and it loaded fine.

The list just keeps on growing

EDIT: I've written a quick fix: The app will only mount flash0 if you try to access it (ie. by loading/saving to flash0). So don't do that ;) :P

I tried the new update - awesome work man !!! :D

Hopefully you see fit to add the edit description function, or at least a delete description, because if you mess up while adding a description, there is no way to fix it, therefore ruing the entire db file.. :/ (I suppose it could be fixed by using Windows Notepad to edit it..)

Anyway. Allow me to congratulate you one more time on releasing such a wonderful app.
Stellar work bro 8-)
