I love this! It works really well with MHFU!

I have a few suggestions though.
1.) I'm not sure if this is already available, but a way to set a "default" anaglyph color distance so that each time you open XYZ game and enable the PSP3D plugin you don't have to re-adjust the anaglyph colors to your preference.

2.) Make PSP3D compatible with Remote Joy Lite.

Also,
I'm not sure if this was on purpose or an accident, but the WiFi "On" locks the anaglyph colors and WiFi "Off" allows you to move the anaglyph colors around. I really like this feature, especially with MHFU! The only reason I ask if it was on purpose is because I don't see any documentation of this feature. Please keep it!!, but maybe this info can help some people that are having problems with adjusting the anaglyph colors :)

P.S. For people in the US, to get free Red/Cyan glasses go here:
http://www.rainbowsymphony.com/freestuff.html

That is where I got my pair. They are the cheap paper kind, but free is free!

Hi there,

thanks for your comments.

1. the default settings per game could be done within the psp3d.cfg file. You need to setup a section for your game similar to those already existing and than adjust the
paramers:

Code: Select all

COLOR_MODE=R (color mode could be R, G, Y)
ROT_POINT=7.0 (rotation distance)
ROT_ANGLE=0.75 (rotation angle)
I try for the next version to show the current parameters on screen to easely put them afterwards into the file, or may be directly store them within the file..
The WiFi switch does allow this ? Realy ? That was not the intention. The intention was to hold R-Trigger and L-Trigger pressed and than use left/right or the note key to adjust...However, If you love this "feature" than I would not see any reason why I should fix this bug ;o)

Ok here's some quick feedback:
only tested it in mhfu, since I don't have the other games, but it works really well so far (no noticable slowdowns oder other bugs)

But there are 2 games that I really would love to see added:
- Echochrome (I think that small game could be even more awesome with the 3d feature :))
- Burnout Dominator (I've read your blog but it still would be really cool to have such a nice racing game in 3d)

I had a feeling you could edit it with the psp3d.cfg file. I was poking around with it last night but couldn't figure it out. I'm still having a bit of a problem though. With MHFU you use "ROT_ALL=1" what does the ALL mean, does it rotate both distance and angle? If I want to just shift the red/cyan to the left "5 clicks" what would the configuration look like?

Haha, yep.
I was testing out witch plugins work with PSP3D and for some reason after I tried to run XLink Kai it just wouldn't let me adjust the anaglyph colors. After messing around for a bit trying to figure out witch plugin is "conflicting" with PSP3D I turned off the WiFi and then it worked again :lol:

what cfw do you use? everything works fine for me on 5.50 Prome-4
I'm using 6.20 TN-C. I did everything exactly right and it just crashes the game before anything boots up.

I figured out how to configure the MHFU 3D :)

Here is my configuration:

Code: Select all

[MONSTER HUNTER FREEDOM]
LATEHOOK=1
STAGE1=0
ROT_POINT=1
ROT_ANGLE=3.0

A new version of this plugin is now available for download.
I'm sorry that is still does not support 6.xx HEN but I'm working on that.
The plugin is for some games (R&C, Ratatouille) compatibler with remote joy lite 0.19.

The new version could be downloaded at: http://code.google.com/p/psp3dplugin

change log
- New game support for "Ape Escape", "Ridge Racer 2", "Descpicable me" and "Vulcanus - Seek & Destroy".
- While pressing r-trigger and l-trigger you could see on screen the 3D parameter A (ROT_ANGLE) and P (ROT_POINT) as you may want to put into the configuration for your game
- while pressing r-trigger and l-trigger and triangle you can swap the colors of the 3D mode

when it is made compatitable with the lcfw/hen
The best thing about this signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything worthwhile it's too late to stop reading it.
