Making a game ??

Post by irfanhb7 » Thu Mar 31, 2011 2:38 pm

Today I read the psp genisis compo terms and I was happy to see that you can create flash games.
But I have a question that if you have to make the game in the form of eboot.pbp or one that executes from the psp browser.
BTW - I am using macromedia flash 8.
I really need some help.

Ekkhmmmm....

If you read the rules of competition, then you should know ONLY ACCEPTED ENTRY IS A MIPS EXECUTABLE (or script+interpreter). If you don't provide Flash Player with your flash game (as I know there is no ready one, so you have to write yourself), your entry will be rejected.

I think you misunderstood the rules.
Your entry must be a PSP Homebrew. It can be a game, an application, a plugin, ... anything's fine as long as it is a PSP binary. LUA or other scripting languages are fine as long as your EBOOT runs "standalone". Wallpapers, Themes, Flash games, portals, PC utilities (even if they are in direct relation to the PSP) are out of this competition.*
Well, there you have it. They are out.
