[W.I.P] Ninja Wars

Hi,
I've been working on this game for some time... I'll probably release this during the last week of the deadline of the contest.
This gameplay idea is based on "Age of War", an addicting flash game. If you haven't played it already, please take a look : http://www.addictinggames.com/ageofwar.html
It is a strategy game where you have to defend your base, and your goal is to reduce the enemy's army to zero and destroy their base.
You can make suggestions too..
The gameplay idea of the homebrew is the same, but will have ninjas as characters.

UPDATE: You might want to take a look at a screen shot. Right now, I can only show you the screen shot of the menu (see spoiler).. When I start the game, and try to take a screen shot, the image comes out to be plain black.. Is it PGE'S fault or mine? :?

UPDATE 2: Here is the status of homebrew progress..
Status:
  • Coded a sucessful AI, Menu Polished, Thinking of ways to make a good gui, Need to add in real characters instead of squares I used for testing, Nice music Added :D, Made a map to show you where you are in the game, Sucessfully made a scrolling gameplay to fit more characters, Working on balanced gameplay..
The game is almost done, I am brainstorming ways to make it more fun.. :)

Homebrew Status : Solving errors and avoiding crashes when all chars are activated.

I think this could be good if done right, Defence games have always been a favorite of mine.

I think the idea is quite good, but 'Naruto' is a copyrighted name: you MUST to change the name if you want to participate

...sorry for my bad English :)

The game is ofcourse going to be free, and isn't aimed for any commercial purposes. So this shouldn't get me from entering the competition.. :roll:
If it does come to that, then I'll change the name to "Ninja Wars"... ;)

Looks fine but I HATE naruto.

Try to make a port but 1:1 port no adding some stuff : the game is good so and a port will be awesome, a copy isn't.

Yes, a port would be cool. I am not a fan of Naruto, but this is my first homebrew ever.... so its just a test to see how things turns out to be. Besides, I already started working on it so I don't want to start over. It shouldn't matter weather you love or hate the series. If you like strategy games, than you might want to check this game out...
When I finish making this game, I might just take your advice and try to make a port of the actual flash game. It all depends onthe amount of freetime I have. :lol:

It's an RTS game so you will have to focus more on balancing the game.

Ok, here are some new aspects i added on to the game:
- Ablity to make shurrikken machines, and ninja defence towers as well as charkra boost. ;)
- Ablity to upgrade weapons and chakra level.
