A good NDS emulator
I believe this will be kinda hard =P

A halo port which isn't as crappy as jalo and as cut down as solitude.

An app that broadens the video compatibility of the PSP. Something that can play all MP4 formats aas the iPod and MKV would be perfect.

Hey everybody,

If you don't know, there is Firefox mobile.
If you don't know what project you can submit for the psp genesis competition and you want to win, you can port firefox mobile !
This web browser is faster than opera mobile or netfront, it supports the HTML5 (and the css 3 too !)

If you want a link to this awesome web browser for mobile, here is a link !

Funny stuff
<yifanlu> I enjoy being loud and obnoxious
<yifanlu> rooting an android is like getting a hooker pregnant
<xerpi> I sometimes think I should leave all this stressing **** and be a farmer instead

Dunno if it's possible but that is an awesome idea!!! Funny enough just yesterday I noticed firefox had a mobile version so then I checked to see if it would work on the psp's java emulator. Sadly it wasn't a jad/jar file  . Anywwway your right if someone did somehow manage to port firefox mobile over it would probably win the compo. I like netfront but it is still the same core browser, just abit faster. However netfront does not incorperate the additional full screen keyboard which is kinda crummy. Opera Mini, honestly I hate this one. I'm sure it's the fastest currently but when I have to spend about 5 minutes typing out a single sentence it kinda defeats the purpose ey :P My favourite psp keyboard is a cross between the default one (good for typing web address) and the full screen keyboard (for googling).

The problem with this is that mozilla doesn't release source code, and even if they did, the browser was designed for devices with much higher specs than the PSP. The PSP could have a better browser, but generally it isn't powerful enough for what most people seem to want.

For an example, open your task manager, and look at your browser. It should have a CPU percentage, and more importantly, a Memory Usage. Firefox on average will have over a hundred MB of RAM taken up, especially if you open multiple tabs. Chrome shows this well though, as each tab has it's own process. Most tabs take anywhere from 20 to 60 MB on average, and that's not including the browser! Chrome itself can take 50+ MB itself, without the tabs and extensions, which is pretty much all the PSP's RAM.

crazies,
losers,
ghosts,
individuals
and people who don't give a dang about the stupid binary joke.
