Question On One Of The Rules

Post by -LeetGamer- » Sun Feb 20, 2011 1:57 am

Sorry if this is the wrong section to post, seems like it would be the right one, anyway:

One rule is "Anyone is allowed to submit as many entries as they want. You can work in teams, but we will need a single contact person for the prizes."

Does this literally mean "Anyone is allowed to submit as many entries as they want. You can work in teams, but we will need a single contact person for the prizes."?

As in, can I make the homebrew "x" and "y" and submit them both into the contest AS IF one person entered "x" and a different person entered "y"?

For each prize, there will be one person who recieves it, and then it is up to the team how it is divided and shared.

You can enter as many times as you have complete projects, including if you have a team helping you, or if you're helping a team.

You are allowed to do that (we don't care what nickname you use for your various entries) but this is unrelated to the rule you quoted, as explained above by hardhat.
If you need US PSN Codes, this technique is what I recommend.

Another question:

You can NOT enter a .exe file ran on the computer right? I believe I read that in the rules.

Just wondering because I'm making a .exe file and it's sole purpose is to help people with PSP related stuff :D

If your application is just a PC exe (with no PSP EBOOT), then no, we do not accept that as an entry.

If the .exe is just a tool necessary to "do something" that interacts with your EBOOT, then it is fine to include your exe in the entry as well, of course (I'm thinking of tools such as remotejoy, pimpstreamer, etc... which have a PC counterpart, but for which the PSP code represents a major part of the application). What we will judge is mostly the EBOOT anyways.

What if this exe will "install" (just copy it to your PSP) my entry? (And other things, LOTS of other things (if you want a full list let me know))

In this case your exe is the installer of your homebrew. We are more interested in the homebrew itself, but if your exe serves a good purpose we will take it into account as well.
Just to be sure (and if you don't want to reveal anything publicly yet), please send a pm to me and npt, describing the concept of your homebrew :)
