guys, I'm really sorry, but for various reasons I need to lock this topic.

some of these splash screens are great, but we don't have the manpower to do anything such as judging them. I know the official splash screen is not the best, but we need to keep this thing centralized, because the splash screen will need to be updated as soon as we get new sponsors, we need to be sure the sponsors position on the screen match their expectations, etc... that's a lot of synchronization work that we can't do if there are dozens of "fan made" splash screens.

I could also leave this thread open as an unofficial thing, but I'm afraid it will confuse some people who think they can use these as their splash screens.

I know most compos have such an internal contest, but we can't do it this time.
