Ok so I got a pandora (made one, but i can reverse it easily)
So, now i got all the files but i can't download the elf menu...i really don't wanna register at that site...can someone upload it elsewhere for me? I already tried googling and only got to a site that opened a popup that shut down my computer -_-

Edit: Never mind. I like having the dc8 menu show up :D
Wow this is pretty awesome, thanks ruyor for this awesome tutorial :D Although the only thing i used was the download links :D lol still, it's a good tut for beginners...Just see, for me, timemachine is pretty self explanatory to install firmwares
I was just a bit confused about ipls back then...wow that seems like such a long time ago :shock:

I went ahead and mirrored it here: http://ruyor.comxa.com/tutorials/pandor ... nu_03a.rar (will update the first post too).

O_O That doesn't sound good, you should run a virus scan.

Thanks :D I didn't need a tut to install it first time either, but it's always nice to know there's one if you need it ;)

@ruyor

Is there a reason why the internet browser doesn't work on DC7/DC8? or did dax just forget to include something for it to work.

The internet browser just locks up in DC7/DC8 when you click on it.

The internet browser works fine in 3.60 m33 time machine....

I have no idea why it doesn't work, even the max memory Netfront eboot doesn't work :/ I would say just use the browser on a different firmware.

Well I came to the conclusion that DC7/DC8 both have to support PSP 1000/2000 , And while the 3.60 m33 time machine is only for slim PSP, which means there was not enough ram for PSP 1000 so dax took away the internet browser feature.... ( I'm not sure if the Time machines runs in ram but thats what I think )

Time Machine runs the same way as normal firmware, except it's loading files off of the memstick instead of flash0/1. And compatibility shouldn't have anything to do with it, if it's running on a 1000 it loads the 1000 specific files, if it's on a 2000 then it loads the 2000 specific ones. My best guess is that one of the firmware files that deals with the browser isn't loaded/decrypted/somethingelse and when the firmware tries to run it, it freezes instead.

I may do some checking/experimentation on this subject in the future when I'm bored, but for now there's other browsers on other firmwares you can use ;)
