Hey all i've install a VPK backup game via henkaku and its working fine. But now I would like to run a save game editor on a save file.

For back games do I still need to decrypt the savedata?

also sorry if this is a stupid question...where would backup save game data be stored?

No, you don't need to decrypt anything, use this neat homebrew, it'll then store its files in ux0:data/savegames - https://github.com/d3m3vilurr/vita-save ... /tag/0.8.0

It's easy to accidentally delete saves with that app as well. I recommend watching this tutorial.
