Identifying a part of the Vita Motherboard

Post by pavachan » Wed Feb 08, 2017 5:35 pm

Hello

The back of the vita motherboard has these pins, one of which is broken on my motherboard.
I couldnt find what they are for, or if i'd have any negative consequences due to one of them breaking.

Figured i'd ask here if anyone knew what they were for. I circled them in red.

Thanks.

Fairly certain those are simply for the wifi antenna. They go up against corresponding parts on the backside of the case. That is my best guess, all I can think they're for. Biggest consequence being poor WiFi signal.

This theory is supported by the fact the 3G Vita has a couple of additional pins on one of its logic boards which the WiFi console does not have.
