Just a heads up for people wanting to use an arcade stick or other controller with PSTV.

Or setup PSTV without DualShock 3/4.

The Mayflash universal adapter works with PS1/ PS2 sticks and joypads http://www.mayflash.com/products/xboxxbox360/mf001.html

I also tried some other controllers.

Official wired Xbox 360 pad - working.
Official wireless Xbox 360 pad and usb dongle - not working
Namco SLPH 00015 Dial controller - not working
