I have a CFW PS3 and a eCFW vita and want to correctly remote play. The thing is: when I start the procedure to register my vita, the PS3 create an wireless access point (with wpa aes) with its own wifi card (not very powerful), even if both devices are connecting to the same external wifi router. Unfortunatly, my bed room is a little too far of my ps3, means lot of lag. Also, I notice a thing: wpa aes encryption is a pain for the vita. I tested several configuration and download connection is x10 with my router using wep.
For that, i want to wire my ps3 with ethernet port to a wifi router which have à better wifi range than the ps3 wifi module: PS3 >> LAN >> netgear router >> wifi >> vita.
I have an old netgear router (WGR614 54mbps) and want to dedicate it only for remote play.

I tested a lot of router configuration (example:http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... e_Play.htm) with some tips find on the web but every time i try to register my vita, my ps3 starts its own wifi.
My idea was to try register my vita via a usb cable like psp procedure. (the psp manual said this for the psp to use remote play: http://ae.playstation.com/ps3/support/n ... mote-Play/)
I think I succeeded once (i'm not sur now but the facts showed me that) but I wanted to change back the router settings to be sure it was good and, finaly, I was not able to do it again.
Is that someone has already managed to do that?
Can anyone help me with that?
