3DS emulator for the PSVita..is it possible?

Actually, I have a feeling that this should be possible using image manipulation but it'll probably be so complex and resource draining that it'll be pointless to even try.

No, it's never possible, just like having a xbox360 emulator on a PS3 isn't neither. Thus doesn't even exist. lol

Actually after some research, it always depends more on the device being emulated. It is necessary to know the memory arrangement, all the opcodes and a lot of other stuff, oh, and Nintendo doesn't like emulators, apparently all Gameboy emulators are illegal until the gameboy turns 75:

If vita would have an emulation of 3ds then it would be difficult because the screen is not enough to contain both main and sub screen. when you play games you might have some difficulty switching screens which could be the reason why you get killed and smashed in the game! But I am looking forward about that emu heheeh want to play games like Kid icarus and the likes....

An idea that isn't as crazy as it sounds in regarding have dual screens on the PS Vita.... A button combination or something similar that lets you switch between the two displays of a 3DS or DS.... Still wouldn't give you the complete dual screen experience but it's definitely better than other ideas I have heard such as: turning the PSV on its side!

Oh and there's that other technicality too about emulating stereoscopic games on the PSV..... It doesn't have a stereoscopic screen! Not sure about all you guys, but always play my 3DS with the 3D effects cranked right up... 3D is the only reason i bought a 3DS
