remove TN-V
remove TN-V
Hi, I have to update my psvita. How can I completely remove TN-V?
Re: remove TN-V
Delete your seplugins and your ISO folder.
Then delete all your homebrews (except PSPfiler) and then delete the flash folder.
Then quit the exploit game, remove PSPFiler (shown as corrupt) and delete the exploit save data.
done.

Re: remove TN-V
Sorry for bumping a thread this old, but I need some clarification; should I delete the folders and files from inside the TN-V? And can I do that without PSPfiler, or do I have to install it first?

Re: remove TN-V
So I do need either PSPfiler or VitaFTP? Isn't deleting the exploited savegame enough to remove everything associated with TN-V?
Re: remove TN-V
just wipe your card man, so much easier if you dont have those 2 apps installed lol,

why do you have to make it sooo much harder then it is ? all he needs to do is remove all of the games/homebrews in xmb and then remove plugins with xplora which is 100000000x better then pspfiler which everyone seems to love so dang much (although most plugins use so little space its not even needed) and then load up the recovery menu and find the option that says to uninstall all 6.60 files
Re: remove TN-V
I dont get what is so hard?
Use Filer to remove the seplugins folder, to get rid of all plugins.
Use Filer to remove the ISO folder, to get rid of all ISO games.
Use Filer (or the XMB itself) to remove all homebrews.
Go into the recovery menu and uninstall the TN-V files.
Leave the game, go into the settings app (or CMA app) and delete the exploit savedatas.
Done.
Filer is recommended since it is, easily, the best explorer for the PSP/Vita.

Re: remove TN-V
It isn't hard, I just wanted to know if I can do it another way without having to connect my Vita to a PC to install PSPfiler.
Anyway, thanks for your advice

Re: remove TN-V
You have to use an explorer homebrew to be sure to get rid of everything.
HB & ISOs can be deleted from the XMB, but other things may not.
