What happens to the PSP after the NGP goes public?

Post by karkinissan » Sat Jan 29, 2011 3:59 am

Is it just going to fade away to nothingness?
What about the games? Will they still be coming out for the PSP? (I doubt it)

Y'know, I havent even had full access to my PSP.(I am poor and cant afford games. But i could somehow afford a PSP o_O? [It was a gift] ) And once NGP goes public, whats gonna be my state? Just sit around and watch others enjoy thier awesome NGP? (gee, I hope not)

Sony has a history of continuing old hardwares..

Does anybody else remember when PS3 was released, they still are making games and PS2 models

And the PSP already has a good library of games. The fact that new games don't get released doesn't mean that they stop selling them. Hopefully we'll see insane discounts on UMDs, and probably PSP games on the PSN will get cheaper too.
If you need US PSN Codes, this technique is what I recommend.

I think they will still make it and if they don't continue it the homebrew community will do it

digital interwebz ;) We will get lame ports for a while... 3DS has not improved its hardware that much so maybe some company's are gone keep porting games to PSP system, same goes for mini's. Just don't expect new or specific releases. Anyway PSP is still up for 1 year. And unless you live in Japan, big chance this question will only go up for 1.5 years from now...
