Downgrading a 02g? [ALL DONE!]

Post by Ghost551 » Mon Sep 26, 2011 3:53 pm

So, I have this 02g PSP as well. TA-088v2 [thank god] Mobo.

What firmwares can I downgrade it up to? And by which method can I?

Thanks. :)

ofw 3.60 is the lowest firmware you can install on a ta-088v2. there are various methods you could use to get there, but i can't think of a reason why you would want to go that low. can you give us some more information on what you're planning on doing? then we can give better advice ;)

I would like to go down to 5.00 M33-6 or 5.50 GEN.

I would also like to know the methods to install these. :D

probably the easiest for those is to run hellcats recovery flasher. the great thing about that application is that you can install 5.00 m33 or 5.50 gen directly without having to downgrade, then use chickHEN, then install cfw.

Shut the PSP down.
Start it with pressed R button, and the recovery menu should appear.
