downgrading problem

Post by trainer1120 » Sun Jun 05, 2011 4:27 pm

so i have a pspGo (5g im sure) OFW 6.39.
I can install CFW 6.39 Pro-B6 no problem but i hear that online play isn't implemented yet (that and when i try infrastructure play the pspGo freezes at "signing in...")
So i was gonna try to downgrade to Pro-B5 or another one that lets u do infrastructure play (anyone know which one let's you?)
well i was trying to downgrade my pspGo to OFW 6.20 but i get an "error opening ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP"
im certain that 6.20 is in that folder and i tried other 6.20 downloads but i keep getting that error
am i missing something or doing it wrong?

if you're doing that, it sounds like you're trying to run the 6.20 update normally. you need to use the downgrader program designed for 6.38/39

Isn't it renamed like 620.PBP or something like that? If that's the case rename it EBOOT.PBP. Or maybe it's not inside the UPDATE folder? If yes, create this folder and put the EBOOT.PBP in there.
