You can't if you have psp 300x or GORyone wrote:How to fix the RSOD?
They happen because of modifying critical files. From less important to more important: Blue Screen (IdStorage corrupt IIRC), RSOD (never saw that, but who cares ), brick (boot or critical FW files corrupt).kaito.1412 wrote:What are the circumstances that it happens ??
Don't touch flash memory and you'll be safe.kaito.1412 wrote:Any ways to prevent it from happening??

try deleting the version.txt on your MS or try disabling pluginsDisturbed0ne wrote:I had something weird happen to me last night.
I was using my PSP with all of the stuff that I've had on it for about a week now (CXMB, custom system_bg RCO, custom gameboot.PMF) and I got the RSOD.
My heart dropped for a minute (as I thought I bricked my only fully functional PSP) but then I tried my other (identical) Sandisk 8gig Pro Duo mem stick (with almost identical files, the only differences were the ISO's on each card) and my PSP works just fine.
Now the weird thing about this whole situation is that the memory stick that gives me the RSOD with any custom stuff on it still works for legit Sony PSN purchased games.
Can anyone explain this?
PSP model 3001 04g
Edit : I've tried reformatting the problem memory stick twice via PC (Fat32 format) and twice via the PSP (standard memory stick reformat) and I get the same results.
