Questions RE [TA-093 Bright 3001 4g]

Ok, so basically in a nutshell...I want to put something perma on my PSP 3000, I was told that I would need to downgrade from OFW 6.60 to OFW 6.20.....that is no problem.
Then I will need to start the process (I already saw some post and threads on doing so, including tools like Boss Hunter, etc..,) ....so this...also not a problem...
Currently I am using LME 1.8 (which requires the launcher everytime I reboot)...it is not as capable as I would like....I need something that does more... (+ irshell)
I guess really I have no problems other then my questions....

1) What is the Brick Risk % (I am a Software Dev Student and Tradesman, so I am not new to these sorts of things, I just dont have a battery to fix any mistakes at the moment)

2) If it Bricks, are there any "user recommended" utilities I can be directed towards

3) What is the best Downgrader and CFW Installer you guys have on this site ...... (I see several, and like I said, I dont have the time or resources to be experimental at the moment)

Mostly I dont need help...just info, and maybe a few links that you guys might recommend.

IR Shell doesnt work on never firmwares, and the 1.5 kernel version of IR Shell does only work at ME and LME CFW, since the PRO CFW cant use 1.5 kernel homebrews.


If the LME launcher bugs you, try LightSpeed, it makes it easier.

BTW the only real difference between LME and PRO is ME has 1.50 support while PRO has PRO Online

oh and on 6.20 its a perma patch so its just a auto booting HEN
(tho it can be useful to access the Recovery Menu on boot)

Kinda forgot to add this... Its late/early in germany... Night without sleep, well yea...



But in general its possible to downgrade a TA-93 to 6.20 for using 6.20 PRO perma patched, but since you want to use IRshell, which doesnt work at PRO CFW, it may wont be a good idea.
The downgrade isnt more risky than an update, but a full battery + the AC is the best solution.

BTW the only real difference between LME and PRO is ME has 1.50 support while PRO has PRO Online

And the perma patch ability, due some lazy devs for not porting the LME (or ME cause of autobooting version?) to 6.20.

Ahhh....Ok well I am a big fan of leaving things alone when they work just fine, and my 3000 works just fine, maybe I will go out and find a 2000 Series, some of the stores around here have them used for like $25 $35 USD....so...yea, I guess no downgrade then new cfw for the 3000.
