Downgrading tutorial with links (6.20 TN-C (HEN) > 5.03)

All topics regarding downgrading with TN Hen

In my honest opinion, TN Hen is better as it has more capabilities. Ones a proper LCFW comes maybe I will update. But another thing is ChickHEN is less time consuming to load than Patapon 2 and chickHEN
+ any LCFW can give better ISO/Plugin/Homebrew compatibility.

i thought you cant Touch the flash0 if in tn vsh menu the "protect flash0" is enable you need to disable it before you downgrade right??

but why on your Note number 2.we dont need to change the flash0 protectio.let it enable??

The flash0 protection is meant for flashing permanent CFW onto the PSP which could result in a brick. In this case you are not flashing a CFW or anything. Moreover, the flash0 protection doesn't allow you to modify flash0 via a homebrew. In this case, you are not using any homebrew; what you are using is an official Sony update which can be started by tricking the PSP so that the update eboot thinks it to be a lower firmware.
Remember DON'T change anything in the VSH menu. Let all the stuff in the VSH menu be as it is at default. Don't disable or enable any stuff on the VSH menu or your PSP is at a risk...hmmm...I mean you'd not brick the PSP or anything. But there might be some problems while installation.
PS - I didn't change my Flash0 protect. It was enabled.

Is this tutorial 100% working on PSP 3000 ta-90v2 3g? Is there a chance of any sort of brick with this tutorial? Is it confirmed multiple times?
Thank you Total_Noob

Congo bro, glad that it is working on almost all the 03g models. We must really be thankful to TN and HBL.
