PSP3k 4g unable to downgrade

I tried to downgrade my own psp3k to 5.03 using tn-b. It loads update eboot then crashes. dang! Is there anybody else tried so? maybe i'm doing something wrong...

Good, hopefully the crash before it starts on _04g will prevent some bricks xD

Also, you're not doing anything wrong, _04g is not compatible with firmwares under 5.70. In all actuality, you're lucky that it crashed and didn't try to install, because you would've ended up with a brick

Never try downgrading a PSP- 3000 4g, or a PSP go, it's useless if you downgrade to 6.10,
and below that you'll end up with a brick

I don't think a downgrader for 4g is possible, and gen for hen would be useless, in a few day's we would probably get Psx support too.

Yeah, it is really a good thing that it obviously crashes early. I mean there are two possibilities: Crashing when starting the updater or crashing halfway through the update when it cannot find a _04g file. You definitely wouldn't want the latter to happen.

This is just not possible because 5.03 only contains driver files for 01g, 02g and 03g. So a downgrade to 5.03 will never happen for those models.

psx is not so cool like LCFW, i already decompile 5.03 and see that there is no 04g index! too bad...
