I don't think so...

I mean the 3000 screen won't work with a 2000 motherboard.
Secondly, you will also lose microphone capabilities...

And if you mess it up, you cannot be helped

If you dont have a TA-095(v2) (07g/09g) motherboard, then use 6.20 perm patch and everything is fine...
White PSV TV - 32GB - 3.65 CFW
White PSV 1000 - 32GB - 3.65 CFW
2x PSV 2000 - 32/64GB - 3.65 CFW
PSP Fat 1000 - TA-081 - 6.61 ME-2.3
PSP Slim 2000 - TA-085¹ - 6.61 ME-2.3
4x PSPgo & 1x PSP 3kº⁴ᶢ - 6.61 LME-2.3∞

not all motherboards can be changed, are not compatible, I do not recommend the patch permanent since they already gave more of a disappointment, besides being something completely different to what question

I think that a 2000 motherboard won't fit on a 3000. They have some different fuctions.

I think it will, but the LCD will fail. I've read through this one and i saw a guy with 3000 (TA-08x) mobo connected to a TV via component cable PC monitor via USB cable (probably remotejoylite). He's trustworthy BTW, and he's the PSP hardware man of the Philippines. He said that the main reason that he connected his PSP to the monitor was LCD for the 3000 is different from 2000 (remember 3000 has better "capabilities" in LCD)

EDIT:

It's this:
